High Level Alarm Beacon
The team were on site at a Community Centre in Havant this week to install a high level alarm beacon unit. Whilst onsite they carried out a pump service and tanker empty and jet clean. The guys left the site clean and operational for the local community.
High Level alarms with external beacons are connected to a float switch which monitors the liquid level and are installed on sites where someone is present to investigate alarm triggers. High level alarms are used to monitor sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and septic tanks. When the float switch reaches a specified level the sounder and LED warning light in the alarm are triggered and the external beacon is activated. This warning signal alerts the user and provides the opportunity to take remedial action quickly.
External beacons are used in situations when the panel on it’s own may not be seen or heard.
