Pump Tripping Call Out
After a late callout on a Friday we went to a vets practice to inspect a pump that kept tripping. As a result of our investigation our engineer found that the pump was blocked. Massively rammed with debris which was causing the issue rather than an electrical fault.
Our engineer removed the blockage in the pump. The next prosses was to flush the pump through with water. We then carried out a comprehensive test. We found it to be running correctly.
What causes pump to trip?
- bearings temperature or vibration is high.
- motor is overloaded.
- mechanical seal damage.
- damaged wiring.
- lack of maintenance
- wet wipes
